Yes, I know...

...it's been an extremely long time since I've updated this. I had the excuse of having too much work from March to May, then I had the excuse of being busy with my internship in LA in June to August, then I had the excuse of touring around London in August, but I've now run out of excuses. So I'll be gathering my thoughts and updating my actions in the next day or so.

To summarise:

  • March to May - finishing the second semester of the first year of my MBA. Exams were pretty brutal but I got through relatively unscathed. I spend much of April on an internship search, which culminated in securing one with an entrepreneurial company called Global ePoint in Los Angeles. The internship was awesome and I will discuss it more detail in a later post.
  • May to June - working on my fellowship, which I was extremely behind in. I think I was about 130-odd hours behind before May, for a number of reasons. Obviously if you're that behind the school won't let you register for classes for your second year, so I had to sort myself out. I worked for three weeks straight and managed to knock off 100 or so hours of that, so I'm now starting the new school year only 30 hours behind, which is more manageable.
  • June to August - on my internship in LA. I'll cover this in a later post as mentioned before.
  • Mid-to-late August - visited Maryrose in London. This was a fantastic experience and I'll also cover it in more detail a bit later.
Now I'm back at school. The second year is a lot more manageable than the first- I estimate the workload to be about 40-50 hours instead of the 80 hours last year.

Details to come.
